Cecilia's Tuesday Teaser

All four Gospels, despite their differences, present us with the same picture of Jesus as one who not only showed concern for the well-being of women but also acknowledged their true worth and took note of their ideas and opinions whether he accepted or rejected those ideas.

The stories found in the Gospels demonstrate an equal concern for women and men.  both in need of forgiveness.  Like men, women needed to hear his message of change, and Jesus expected them both to respond to his call.  The Gospel writers preserved these stories and prensented them to a Greco-Roman world that often found them offensive.
